RAMADAN–ARE WE ALLOWED TO HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE DURING THE SACRED MONTH

Posted on August 24th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

Ramadan, to many it is the thought that ISLAM prohibits certain things during the month of Ramadan and this is true to an extent but for all the believers and learners out there you are to know that Islam does not restrict you to have sexual intercourse with wife husband at night. Meaning that night is not restricted but day is and that is the time when you are fasting. Read: Ramadan tips.

We are made this more obvious by Allah (SWT) as Quran tells us: “It is made lawful for you to go unto your wives on the night of the fast. They are raiment for you and ye are raiment for them. Allah is aware that ye were deceiving yourselves in this respect and He hath turned in mercy toward you and relieved you.”

“So hold intercourse with them and seek that which Allah hath ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread becomes distinct to you from the black thread of the dawn. Then strictly observe the fast till nightfall and touch them not, but be at your devotions in the mosques. These are the limits imposed by Allah, so approach them not. Thus Allah expounds His revelations to mankind that they may ward off (evil)” (Al-Baqarah 2:187).

Thus clear understanding helps us to make our actions count and worthy for His, One & Only, Allah (SWT) to consider and shower His mercy, blessings and the chance to seek forgiveness in the very special month of fasting, Ramadan.

RAMADAN–KISSING ONE’S WIFE IN RAMADAN

Posted on August 20th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

(All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Realms; and Prayers and Peace of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions)

We as Muslims have been told that there is no religion like Islam and there is no guidance better than Quran, the Holy Book which Allah (SWT) assures us to protect till the Day of Judgment will retain the original text/his words of great supremacy to be in easy access, all one is expected to understand is the message of Islam.

Well, Ramadan is the upcoming month of blessings in which believers worship, pray and recite Quran in abundance to please the One & Only, Allah (SWT) and self for His Mercy, Forgiveness and Blessings. While this remains to be true you are expected to follow certain rules & regulations to observe the blessings of this month.

husband and wife

Yes, that is correct there are often situations where one comes across question that, is kissing allowed when fasting in the month of Ramadan. Well, in certain aspects if I say it is and on the other hand if it is to say it is not it would not be wrong for either side and this is where you are to acquire appropriate information for your benefit.

The idea of kissing one’s wife in the state of fasting is allowed but only to the condition where there is no intention to go any further as further actions are restricted in the state of fasting and this is where you are to make it certain that kissing one’s wife may arouse you for certain actions and this is where it Is forbidden strictly as it will render your fast broke. Sex, Kissing, Drinking – What is prohibited in Ramadan? What to avoid while fasting?

It is confirmed that `A’ishah said: The Prophet would kiss and embrace while he was fasting, for he had the most control of all of you over his desires. ‘Umar said: I was excited one time and I kissed [my wife] while I was fasting.

I went to the Prophet and said: ‘Today I committed a horrendous act—I kissed while I was fasting.’ The Prophet asked: ‘What do you think of rinsing with water while fasting?’I said: ‘There is nothing wrong with that.’ The Prophet said: ‘Then what is the question about?’

However, as said earlier such actions should be avoided as one may eject or arouse further which leaves one fast broken and punishment or kufarah shall be imposed.

Importance of Knowledge in the Light of Hadith

Quran OnlineKnowledge has a significant importance in a life of a Muslim. Allah has blessed Muslims with the Quran now it depends upon us that how we will take benefit from it. We can read Quran Online in order to gain knowledge about Quran teachings, its an easy way and many websites are offering free services nowadays.

Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet said, “The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah’s religion and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah has revealed through me (the Prophets and learns and then teaches others. The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take Allah’s guidance revealed through me (He is like that barren land.)”  (Book #3, Hadith #79)

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: Allah’s Apostle said, “While I was sleeping, I saw that a cup full of milk was brought to me and I drank my fill till I noticed (the milk) its wetness coming out of my nails. Then I gave the remaining milk to ‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattab” The companions of the Prophet asked, “What have you interpreted (about this dream)?”O Allah’s Apostle!” he replied, “(It is religious) knowledge.”  (Book #3, Hadith #82)

Islam: A True Religion

Posted on July 1st, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

Islam is the world’s second largest religion and the basic thing that everyone should know and understand is the meaning of Islam. Islam is a true and holy religion of Allah and the name Islam is being delivered from the Arabic word Aslama which means to accept or submit. So the perfect meaning of Islam is to submit one’s will to one and only true God (Allah) and the one who does so is called a Muslim. If we read Quran we can find out that Allah has perfected this religion for us.

“This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion”. (Soorah Al-Maa’idah 5:3)

In the holy Quran we can find out many other statements about Islam and being a Muslim Allah has asked us to learn Quran and Hadith.

Islam is not named after a person as compared to other religions:

  • Christianity after Jesus Christ
  • Buddhism after Gautama Buddha
  • Confucianism after Confucius
  • Marxism after Karl Marx
  • Hinduism after the Hindus.

If we read Quran we can also see that Allah has strictly prohibited any other religion without Islam.

“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah (God) never will It be accepted of Him”. (Soorah Aal’imraan 3:85)

Islam was the religion of the first man on earth, Adam and he was also the first prophet of Allah. Islam was the religion of all the prophets after him as well.

Allah has also promised us that he will listen to us if we call Him.

“And your Lord says: Call on Me and I will answer your (prayer).” (Soorsh Mu’min 40:60)

Allah has made our religion very simple for us with the revelation of the Quran. We need to learn Quran in order to understand deeply about our religion and the existences of Allah.

Pronouns Used For Allah in The Holy Quran

Posted on June 25th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

Muslims who are seeking for mercy of Allah should learn Quran online in all parts of the world; So that they can answer the questions that often misguide people on the name of there ignorant minds.

Surah al-Anbiya’ 21:107 “And We did not send you (O Muhammad) except as a mercy to the world.”

It is often asked that if the lord is “one” then why is the word we used for him.

The basic concept of Islam is oneness of Allah. As said in the holy Quran:

“There is no god but Allah”.

Therefore there is no ambiguity in the concept of ones of Allah according to Quran. If anyone thinks so he is committing the sin of shirk which would not be forgiven by Allah. Thus we need to understand the usage of pronouns in the holy Quran. Following pattern of pronouns would make the picture clear:

  • When the form of third person being is being used for Allah the pronouns he, him is used in the holy Quran. This form is a singular pronoun used in Arabic as Huwa or Hu.
  • When Allah is addressed as the second person again singular pronouns are used i.e. Thou, Thine and Thee.
  • The pronouns I, My or Mine (Ana, Iyaya, ya) and at times We, Us and Our (Nahnu, Na) are used when the first form is used. Here are a few examples from the holy Quran:

“When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe in Me: that they may walk in the right way.” (al-Baqarah 2:186)

“Verily, I am Allah: there is no god but I: so serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise.” (Taha 20:14)

We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).” (al-Hijr 15:9)

“Before them the People of Noah rejected (their Messenger): they rejected Our servant, and said, “Here is one possessed!” and he was driven out. Then he called on His Lord: “I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!” So We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth. And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs. So the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed. But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fiber: She floats under Our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)! And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition? But how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning? (al-Qamar 54:9-16)

The reason to talk about this is to tell the people who are being misguided on the name of the similar biblical verses which had the pronouns “we, us or our” which meant “Divine Trinity”. Now they prove such examples to be the similar to the Quranic verses.

Here is an example from bible, “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image¦” (Genesis 1:26).

The Spiritual Uplifting Of Women According To Islam

Posted on June 16th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

Quran tells us that only Taqwa is what differentiates the mankind and nothing else. The Qur’an states:

“Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds” (Qur’an 74:38). It also states:

…So their Lord accepted their prayers, (saying): I will not suffer to be lost the work of any of you whether male or female. You proceed one from another …(Qur’an 3: 195).

The Qur’an presents clear-cut clues that woman is absolutely equated with man in the view of God in terms of her privileges and responsibilities. Often this is misunderstood that men and women are not equal in the eyes of Allah in the teachings of Islam. For more on the equality of the of mankind consult online Quran recitation services that provide you translation of Quran as well.

Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has faith, verily to him will We give a new life that is good and pure, and We will bestow on such their reward according to the their actions. (Qur’an 16:97, see also 4:124).

Woman according to the Qur’an is not blamed for Adam’s first mistake. Both were jointly wrong in their disobedience to God, both repented, and both were forgiven. (Qur’an 2:36, 7:20 – 24). In one verse in fact (20:121), Adam specifically, was blamed.

The responsibilities might be different but the spiritual aspect has no difference in the levels and position until they excel in the fields of Quran and Sunnah.

Pattern that Muslims need to follow

Posted on May 31st, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

Until or unless teachings and knowledge are not applied according to the present time needs Muslims cannot be on the right path. Following is the pattern that Muslims need to follow:

A. Understanding of the source of the words means that it is a suggestion to the vastness of the phrases being read, and the bounty of Allah; Glorified is He, to His creation when He addressed His creation with these words.

B. Putting into the heart the comprehending that these are not the phrases of man.  Through this the book reader should believe about the characteristics of Allah the Exalted.

C. Presence of the heart while reading. Through this the book reader should hurl away other ideas while reading the Qur’an.

D. Pondering the meaning is the third and the most important step.  There is less pay in reciting the Qur’an without comprehending the meaning.  The Qur’an was disclosed for guidance and this can be accomplished through recitation escorted with pondering.

E. Understanding the meaning gives the essence of the teachings of Quran.  This entails combining and answering to every verse as asserted by what is correct for it.

F. application of the verses of Quran is something without which the teachings of Quran cannot be useful until done so.

Quran recitation is the best way towards the understanding of the teachings of Quran.

It is important for us to understand Islam and its history that made many to accept Islam as the religion of God The Almighty. The wide spread of Islam was only possible because the sources authenticate its purity, validation and originality, in addition to this the learning and submission of our lives with a better approach that has several basics reasons attached to it has made it possible that mankind understand the message of Allah and put it to their use for their own good and the betterment while following the right path of forgiveness.

To obtain precise information and learn more about Islam and its social, moral and other day to day values we Muslims are awarded with an authenticated and legitimate source known as Quran. While this remains to be the fact where fast spreading religion is making progress there meaningless leaders who are indulge in politics are contributing to create misconceptions about Islam which is neither good nor should be acceptable.

However, the concern should be more towards the betterment of our religion and following the right path forgiveness while Islam does not need any politics or influence to make a difference as it is a pure word of God and upon his sweet will. We are the followers of Islam and should practice the guided paths rather than indulging ourselves for the sake of it. Remember, Islam is the religion which spread because of its ability not from politics and the obstacle shall be removed for the betterment of Islam and it would spread on its own.

Resurrection

Every living creature is destined to die. This is natural and practical observation that everything which is born must have to die. In Islam life is an ordinary thing; real life is after death for which we are here to be examined. In Islam death is an ordinary destiny for all human beings, actually according to Islamic religion this life is an ordinary life, real life starts after the death which is called Akhriah. Death is disengagement of soul from death, it is considered as the soul which is essential for a life, leaves human body resulting in death. Muslim Aqeeda is in Belief in Allah (the God), God’s Angels, God’s Messengers, God’s Books, and Belief in life after death (Aakhirah); the Day of Resurrection (Qiyamah) and Qadr. In Quran following are the verses beautifully explained for our belief.

“O mankind! if you have a doubt about the Resurrection(consider) that We created you out of dust then out of sperm then out of a leech-like clot then out of a morsel of flesh partly formed and partly unformed in order that We may manifest (Our Power) to you; And We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term then do We bring you out as babes then(foster you) that you may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die and some are sent back to the feeblest old age so that they know nothing after having known(much). And (further) you see the earth barren and lifeless but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred(to life) it swells and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth(in pairs).”

We must read Quran and finding the right path from it, today is the day of technology now you can read Online Quran using the internet facility.

Why Humans are Sent into this World

Posted on March 8th, 2010 by admin  |  No Comments »

muslim worshipWhat is the purpose of this world? Why has God created it? And if god has created it then everything happening is HIS wish, so why all this going on? What will happen after death? What Islamic School of thought and other schools of thought say about this? These are the most important questions concerning the origins and fate of mankind, and they should never be far from people’s minds. Finding the correct answers to these questions has always been one of man’s most important quests.

These questions have been variously answered by different people. However, these answers can be placed in two broad categories: one, which holds the great array of wonders in this world to be purposeless, and the other, which asserts that man was created with a purpose and that he has a definite goal. By Learning Quran, we find that the basic purpose of creation is to worship God. Hence it is based on this inborn belief that God defined the purpose of mankind’s creation in Quran:

“I have created the jinn and humankind only for my worship.” (Quran 51:56)

Amongst two schools of thought, the first view tends to be subscribed to by poets, philosophers and secular scholars, the second view is firmly upheld by that very special class of beings called prophets, or messengers of God. The most authentic testament to the second view has been provided by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Many arguments can be put forward in support of the answers in both of these categories. It is very obvious, however, that the notion of purposelessness is not in keeping with the structure of life and universe. The idea, on the other hand, of purposeful creation, falls exactly into place, for the simple reason that it contains no inherent contradictions.

The world into which man is born is fraught with significance. There is nothing which is of a meaningless or random nature. It is quite unthinkable that man, with his meaningful life, born into a meaningful universe, should find no purpose in creation. Where there is meaningfulness, there will, of necessity, be purposefulness. This aspect of the universe is a clear verification of the Prophet’s answer.
