Some Effective Ways To Memorize The Holy Quran
Reciting the Holy Quran is of great significance for a Muslim, as it is the Holy Book of Allah and if a person memorizes it then there is a lot of importance of its memorization. A person who memorizes the Holy Quran is called as Hafidh. There is a great reward for Hafidh of Quran on the Judgment Day and he will have the ability to intercede on the behalf of ten members of the family.
A good Quran School will help you in memorizing. Here are some Techniques by which you can effectively memorize the Holy Quran.
A) Chunking Technique:
1. Chunking means classifying long verses into various small parts that are suitable to follow the direction of the preachers or teachers.
2. You can categorize the initial Surah in parts (2 or 3) that are suitable.
3. Group the Surah in various parts to follow the exchange of stories.
B) Repeating Technique
1. Read the part or piece of a paragraph almost five times before starting the process of memorization.
2. Read the verse which has been memorized 10 or more times before moving on to the next verse.
3. After the memorization, each and every half page must be repeated various times before moving or passing to next verse.
4. Before moving on to the next Surah, the previous one must be repeated.
C) Listening Technique:
Select a good Qari for learning the Holy Quran and choose mp3 file to download and save it in Android, iPod, or any other device and before memorizing do listen to the verse that you want to memorize.
